• Clicking on Forgot password will take you to verification page, where you have to prove that you are the owner of that registered email address you enter.
• In two ways you can prove that you are the owner of that registered Hotmail account. One by OTP verification through a registered mobile number or other by Alternative email address.
• If you have registered mobile number with you, then simply generate OTP. You will get OTP within 5 mins, and submit the OTP. This will let you reset your password. In case if you don’t have registered mobile number with you, then you can verify through alternative email address.
• A verification email sent to your alternative email address on your request which is been added to your Hotmail Account during Hotmail Sign up.
• After verification, create new password for Hotmail login account.
